UNICEF in collaboration with the OECS Commission, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) launched a free emergency, population-wide Tele Mental Health and Psychosocial Support ( tele-MHPPS) service. This service will be available for an initial three (3) months (until August 2020).
The attached posters show that this service can be accessed remotely through telephone, text, or video, depending on the context and the person’s needs. Children and adolescents, with parental consent, may also access these services. In addition, the service provides high-quality, self-help materials through books and digital programmes, as well as self-assessments. Care has been taken to ensure confidentiality and equity in access to this service.
