Congratulations, Adelia Henry, Winner of the 2023 Island Scholarship!

The Vieux-Fort Comprehensive Secondary School recognizes the outstanding achievements of Miss Adelia Henry, a 2023 graduate of our A-level Department. Our school and the wider VFCSS family are pleased to congratulate Ms. Adelia Henry who has been awarded the distinguished Island Scholarship 2023. Ms. Henry achieved the remarkable performance of straight A’s in all of the Units to attain 1’s in all of the subjects she studied at the CXC CAPE over the period 2021-2023.

We are so proud of and not the least bit surprised by our student’s achievement, having witnessed her commitment and dedication to learning and her academic discipline. We are delighted that an individual as affable and diligent as Adelia, an overall outstanding student, has been rewarded for her efforts by being awarded the preeminent academic award in St. Lucia.

Ms. Henry is the eighth student from the A-level Department of the Vieux-Fort Comprehensive Secondary School to have been awarded, and the sixth to have accepted this outstanding award. She joins A’level VFCSS graduates Mr. Javed Samuel (1999), Ms. Indira Deonandan (2004), Ms. Vernecia Badal (2005) Ms. Tresha Lionel (2011), Ms. Amanie Mathurin (2013), Mr. Soivensky Joseph (2017) and Ms. Hailey Boriel (2021, awarded in 2024) in this hall of recognition.

Her teachers and school by extension applaud her incredible accomplishment and wish her every success in her academic journey. Well done, Adelia. Well deserved. We have every confidence that she will continue to excel!
